A Resolution Authorizing the County Administrator to Accept on Behalf of Fauquier County a Grant awarded by the Virginia Office of Emergency Services

Topic Description:

The Virginia Office of Emergency Services awarded a grant in the amount of $76,650.00 to Fauquier County.  These funds are to be used to purchase (21) Panasonic Toughbook Computers for pre-hospital patient care while transporting in county ambulances.  In order to accept this grant, authorization from the Board of Supervisors is required by way of resolution.    

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

Fauquier County has been awarded $76,650.00 and does not require any matching funds.

Identify any other Departments, Organizations or Individuals that would be affected by this request:
