A Presentation by the John Marshall Soil & Water Conservation District Regarding the Benefits of Rain Barrels

Topic Description:

Representatives of the John Marshall Soil and Water Conservation District will present the positive benefits of using rain barrels for water conservation,  discuss how participants may register for an upcoming workshop on the conservation program, and a demonstration of how to assemble and maintain rain barrels.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct the work session.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

There is no financial impact.  John Marshall Soil and Water Conservation District has purchased the materials needed and is charging participants $50 to cover expenses for an upcoming workshop.
