A Resolution to Initiate the Study and Development of an Ordinance to Establish a Route 29 North Corridor Overlay District

Topic Description:

This resolution initiates the study of the Route 29 corridor between Warrenton and the Prince William County line, culminating in the development of an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to enact an overlay district for the Route 29 North corridor for the purpose of establishing design criteria and guidelines that will improve the quality, safety, economic value and attractiveness of development and properties in the corridor, as recommended by the Fauquier County Comprehensive Plan.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors:

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
