A Resolution to Postpone Consideration of the Acquisiton of Property Within the Open Space of Southcoate Village to Complete an Interparcel Connection

Topic Description:

Melvin C. Bender, the owner of a 45 acre parcel of land adjacent to Southcoate Village Subdivison, has requested an interparcel connection from Southcoate Village at Callie Jo Court.  A parcel owned by the Southcoate Village Homeowners Association is located between Callie Jo Court and the Bender Parcel. D.C. Diamond Corporation, the developer of Southcoate Village, has been unable to obtain title to the intervening parcel in order to complete the interparcel connection. 

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

No financial impact is anticipated.  D.C. Diamond Corporation has agreed to underwrite the costs associated with the acquisition.
