Resolution to Request that the Virginia Department of
Transportation Install "Watch for Children" Signs in the
English Meadows Subdivision

Topic Description: |
|
At the request of Gisella Fackenthall, a resident along
Piccadilly Drive (Route 1611), and with the concurrence of
the Board of Supervisors and the Virginia Department of
Transportation (VDOT), "Watch for Children" signage in the
English Meadows subdivision will be installed by VDOT.
These signs will be placed at locations VDOT deems
appropriate.

Consider adoption of the
attached resolution.

Recommendation: |
|
On July 28, 2004, the Transportation Committee recommended
approval of the requested "Watch for Children" signage for
the English Meadows subdivision.

VDOT will fund the installation of the signs.
