A Resolution to Increase the
Compensation for Members of the Board of Zoning Appeals and
the Social Services Board

Topic Description: |
|
The members of the Board of
Zoning Appeals currently receive $2,400 per year in
compensation and the members of the Social Services Board
currently receive $1,200 per year. In view of the nature of
the duties and contributions of the members of these boards,
the Board of Supervisors wishes to increase their
compensation to the following amounts:
$3,000 per year for Board of
Zoning Appeals members.
$1,800 per year for Social
Services Board members.

Consider adoption of the
attached resolution. |

Financial Impacts Analysis: |
|
The
financial impact of adoption of this resolution is as
follows:
For the
6-member Social Services Board, there is an increase of
$3,600
For the
7-member Board of Zoning Appeals, there is an increase of
$4,200.
The
total impact is $7,800. |
