A Resolution to Appoint Nancy J. Albert as
Fauquier

Records Manager

Topic Description:

|
Section 42.1-85 of the
Virginia Public Records Act states that each agency and locality
shall appoint at least one records officer to serve as a liaison
to the Library of Virginia for the purposes of implementing and
overseeing a records management program.
In January 1991, the Board of Supervisors appointed Debbie
Gouldthorpe to serve in this capacity.
Now that Mrs. Gouldthorpe has retired, the Code of Virginia
requires that these duties be transferred to her successor.
The attached resolution will officially transfer these
duties.
