On
July 2, 2002, the Virginia Outdoors Foundation (VOF) contacted the
GIS Office to request that the County enter into a digital GIS
data exchange agreement, whereby the Fauquier County would provide
to VOF, at no cost, on a quareterly basis, current digital maps of
the County-wide Parcels of Record, the County-wide VOF Easements
and the County-wide VOF Owned Properties.
VOF agrees to maintain and provide, at no cost to the
County, updates of the digital VOF layers, using their Geographic
Information Systems, as often as necessary, to reflect new
additions, deletions, or changes of boundaries.
The digital maps provided by the County to VOF will remain
the property of Fauquier County.
The VOF agrees not to reformat, reproduce, distribute or
permit to be used by another person, firm, corporation, or entity,
these digital maps.
