An Ordinance to Permit Boundary Line Adjustments and Consolidations Between Parcels Zoned Rural Agriculture or Rural Conservation Without a Reduction in Density

Topic Description:

The proposed amendment would permit boundary line adjustments and consolidations between parcels in the RA and RC zones without a loss in the combined density of the parcels, and would establish a proportionate share calculation to adjust density between parcels subject to a boundary line adjustment.  The County's rural plan consultants recommended that the County address density penalties associated with parcel consolidations in its 1995 report.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct a public  hearing and consider adoption of the attached Ordinance.
