RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION Adopting the TEXT AMENDMENT TO
Chapter six-Warrenton Service District Plan

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors held two public hearings and adopted the Plan on November 17, 2003, with some revisions that deviated from the Planning Commission and Citizen Planning Advisory Committee drafts; and

WHEREAS, the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors authorized the appointment of the Citizen Planning Committee on February 17, 2004, for the purpose of reviewing the adopted revisions to the Warrenton Service District Plan; and

WHEREAS, the Citizen Planning Committee convened in June of 2004, reviewed and developed refinements through a series of public meetings, and then submitted its unanimously approved revised draft plan to the Planning Commission on March 31, 2005, for consideration; and

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted its public hearing on April 26, 2005, and conducted subsequent works sessions leading to forwarding to the Board of Supervisors its revised Chapter Six-Warrenton Service District Plan with a unanimous recommendation for adoption as revised; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors conducted its public hearing on August 11, 2005, and subsequent work session; now, therefore, be it

            RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 8^th day of September 2005, That the Board does hereby adopt the text amendment to the Warrenton Service District Plan as revised.
