A Work Session to Review a Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment to Article 2, General Regulations, Article 6, Accessory Uses, and Section 15-300, Definitions, to Establish the Height and Location Requirements for Accessory Wind Energy Systems

Topic Description:

The work session is an opportunity for staff to brief the Board of Supervisors on a proposed text amendment that seeks to establish Zoning Ordinance provisions regarding the use of private, non-commercial wind energy systems, such as windmills or wind turbines. The proposed text amendment is also on the agenda for public hearing, and a detailed review of the proposed text amendment is provided in the staff report for the public hearing item.
