A Work Session with Representatives of the Fauquier County Water & Sanitation Authority and the Vint Hill Economic Development Authority to Continue Discussions Related to the Vint Hill Sewer Treatment Plant Expansion Project

Topic Description:

The purpose of the work session is to continue the discussions between the Board of Supervisors and the Fauquier County Water and Sanitation Authority Board relating to the expansion of the Vint Hill Sewage Treatment Plant. Since the last work session was held between the two entities the Board of Supervisors and the Water and Sanitation Authority Board have established a joint liaison committee which has been meeting on this issue.  In addition, representatives of the Vint Hill Economic Development Authority have attended the liaison committee meetings and have been invited to participate at this work session.  The attached memorandum explains the present state of this issue.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct the work session and provide staff with direction on the project.

To be determined based upon course of action the Board chooses to take on this project.
