A Resolution Providing for the Implementation of the Comprehensive Community Corrections Act for Local Responsible Offenders and the Pretrial Services Act and Confirming the Establishment of the Fauquier/Rappahannock Community Criminal Justice Board

Topic Description:

The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) has requested this confirming resolution from each locality as a pro forma measure.  Fauquier County receives significant grant funding from DCJS, and this is a grant requirement.  Fauquier and Rappahannock County have already established a Community Criminal Justice Board and already provide community corrections and pretrial services.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
