Emery & Garrett Groundwater,
Inc. (EGGI) of Meredith, New Hampshire, has provided a
proposal dated August 30, 2006, attached for reference,
which provides a plan and estimated budget to continue
groundwater exploration and development investigations in
the New Baltimore Service District, as well as a plan to
initiate groundwater investigations within the Marshall
Service District, both efforts a result of recent Board of
Supervisors’ directives. On February 26, 2005, EGGI was
awarded a contract for Water Resource Management Plan &
Consultant Services as a result of Request For Proposals
(RFP) #63-05sm, released January 6, 2005. Seven (7)
proposals were received and evaluated as a result of the
RFP, and a contract was negotiated and awarded in a
not-to-exceed amount of $72,000 to EGGI as the top-ranked
firm. Modification #1 for $5,500 was issued in May 2005,
resulting in a revised contract total of $77,500.
Per Procurement Policy
Section 4.1.15, no fixed-price contract may be increased by
more than 25% of the contract or $50,000, whichever is
greater, without the advance written approval of the Board
of Supervisors. The attached resolution approves and
authorizes an increase of $250,000 to EGGI, Contract
#63-05smc, to include FY 2006-2007 Groundwater
Investigations in the New Baltimore and Marshall Services
Districts per EGGI’s proposal dated August 30, 2006. |
