Presentation of the Affordable Housing Task Force Report |

Topic Description: |
|
The County Administrator
proposed, and the Board of Supervisors approved, a
contingency reserve of $289,000 in fiscal year 2007 to
support affordable housing initiatives. An Affordable
Housing Task Force was formed to assist the Board in
determining the most efficient and effective use of these
funds. The Task Force has been meeting regularly since the
beginning of this calendar year, and has prepared a report
for presentation to the Board of Supervisors. |

Requested Action of the
Board of Supervisors:

Conduct a work session to
review the Affordable Housing Task Force Report, provide
feedback to the Task Force, and consider adopting the
attached resolution. |
