RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION TO ENDORSE CORRESPONDENCE TO THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY: FAUQUIER LANDFILL PERMIT NO. 149

            WHEREAS, staff from Fauquier County and the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) have been meeting to review the continued use of the old landfill for construction and demolition debris materials; and

            WHEREAS, an agreement has been reached that would allow the continuing use of the old landfill through June 2008; now, therefore, be it

            RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 15^th day of September 2003, That the Board of Supervisors does hereby endorse correspondence from the County Administrator to the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality concerning the closure of the old landfill.
