Topic:              A Resolution Authorizing the Revision and Abolishment of Selected Fauquier County Government Human Resources Policies

The Fauquier County Government Human Resources Policies Manual is being reviewed in its entirety for necessary updates and revisions.  Part of this review entails grouping related policies to eliminate duplication and provide a logical sequencing and retrieval of information.  To this end, it is recommended by the Personnel Committee that Policy 5, Personnel Policy Committee, be abolished.  It is further recommenced that Policy 48, Bloodborne Pathogens, be removed from the Human Resources Policy Manual and placed in the Human Resources Procedures Manual.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors:

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
