The
federal government provides limited funding for law enforcement
through the Block Grant Program.
A program requirement is to conduct a public hearing
concerning the use of these funds, which are anticipated to be
$14,232 in the current fiscal year.
The Sheriff's Office is considering using these funds to
help fund overtime payments related to traffic enforcement.

a public hearing, and
- Adopt
attached resolution

required local match of $1,581 is available in the Sheriff's
