The
Governor has indicated there is a $1.5 billion revenue shortfall in the State's bi-annual budget. This
work session will provide staff an opportunity to update the Board
of Supervisors on the most current information and provide
recommendations for contingencies to address anticipated State
revenue shortfalls. Included in the worksession is be an outline
of the General County Government and School Divison financial
status. The attached document provides detailed information
concerning State revenue reductions.

Requested
Action of the Board of Supervisors:
|
|
Convene
a worksession to allow staff to update the Board of Supervisors on
the State revenue reduction issue and to consider interim
contingency measures to address the loss of funding. A draft
resolution has been attached should the Board wish to implement
the County Administrator's recommended actions.
