A Resolution to Revise Fees at the Landfill for Accepting Special
Items The
landfill has experienced an increase in the costs it pays to private
vendors associated with the handling of special items such as tires, units
containing freon, and tree stumps. In
order to offset these increased costs, an increase in these special fees
is recommended as shown in the attached resolution. A public hearing
regarding the proposed fee increase was held on August 19, 2002.
No citizen comments were received at the hearing. Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors Consider
adoption of the attached resolution. Fiscal
Impact:
The revised fees are intended to offset increased costs associated with
processing tires, units containing Freon, and tree stumps. Identify Any Other Departments, Organizations or Individuals That Would be Affected by This Request Department
