Topic                        A Resolution to Award a Contract for Masonry Repairs to the Marshall Community Center

The Capital Improvements Program provides funding for repairs to the exterior masonry walls.  The Procurement Division pre-qualified bidders that resulted in two contractors eligible to bid.  A pre-qualification process was utilized to obtain firms experienced in masonry work on historic structures.  One bid was submitted by Culbertson Company of Virginia.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis

The bid in the amount of $119,890 is below budget estimates of $158,000.
