Since the last Board of Supervisors meeting, Motorola has completed the
Contract Design Review. Staff
and our consultants have reviewed the report and following the work
session, without objection, staff will approve the Design Review. This approval will result in the first significant payment to
Motorola under the contract terms. The
recommendation of the consultant is attached.
The staff will also provide a further update on the status of
negotiations to acquire access to towers that will be consistent with the
Motorola plan and guarantee 95% coverage.
