Topic:              A Resolution Authorizing Reclassification of the Position of Senior Planner to Assistant Chief of Planning              

In accordance with Human Resources Policy #23, several positions were submitted to DMG Maximus to be analyzed for potential reclassification.  The position of Senior Planner within the Department of Community Development was analyzed with no changes made to the existing position.  This action was appealed and upon review, the Human Resources Department recommended that the position of Senior Planner, grade 35, be reclassified to Assistant Chief of Planning, grade 37.  This recommendation is supported by the County Administrator and has been recommended by the Personnel Committee.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors:

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Fiscal Impact:

Funding to support this request will be absorbed within the current budget of the Department of Community Development.
