A Resolution to Establish Two Additional Cash Drawers for the Marshall Community Center

Topic Description:

Consideration of a resolution to institute two additional cash drawers in the amount of $80.00 per drawer for a total amount of $160.00 in order to accommodate two new staff positions.  These additional cash drawers will be assigned to the temporary Recreation Center Attendant and Concession Worker III to allow for an adequate amount of change to address unusual monetary demands by customers, to maintain proper accountability, and to comply with the Fauquier County’s Petty Cash Policy FD-1 and Parks and Recreation Policy B 8.  This agenda request will keep Parks and Recreation in compliance with the County’s Petty Cash Policy. 

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.


Financial Impacts Analysis:

An additional $160.00 in cash drawers at Marshall Community Center.
