A Resolution to Authorize the Acceptance of a Conservation Easement Over the Property of Robert J.  and Anne Michael Breeden

Topic Description:

The Breedens have proposed to donate a conservation easement over property located at the edge of the Warrenton service district.  The proposed easement furthers the goal of the Comprehensive Plan to create a “hard edge” around the Service District and will aid in the protection of the Warrenton Reservoir.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

No financial impact analysis has been conducted.  The property will be automatically eligible for land use taxation upon recordation of the easement but potential residential development will be permanently reduced.
