A Resolution Approving an Exception for Travel Expenses in Accordance with Travel Policy and Procedures – Budget Office

Topic Description:

Fauquier County's adopted Personnel Policy Section 51 (“Travel Policy And Procedures”) provides that an appeal to the Board of Supervisors, through the County Administrator, is required in instances where funds for travel will exceed a $1,000 limit.  The Budget Office is requesting approval for a Randy Benevento to attend the Government Finance Officers’ Association Training Seminar on Budgeting for Budget Analysts in Charleston, South Carolina, December 5-6, 2006. The costs are estimated to be approximately $1,200.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Funds budgeted as part of the FY 2007 budget process.
