A Resolution Directing the County Administrator to Schedule a Public Hearing on a Proposed Ordinance Establishing a Deadline for Submittal  of  Landowner Applications for Equalization of Real Estate Assessment to the Fauquier County Board of Equalization, and a Deadline for the Board of Equalization to Complete Its Deliberations on all Applications

Topic Description:

The Code of Virginia authorizes the County to adopt an Ordinance setting a deadline for applications by taxpayers to request the Board of Equalization to review assessments, and a deadline for the Board of Equalization to complete its deliberations.  The attached resolution schedules a public hearing to permit the Board to consider such an Ordinance.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
