Establish a Project for Phase I of the Route 15 Initiative
of the Journey Through Hallowed Ground |

Topic Description: |

The Journey Through Hallowed
Ground is a broadbased collaborative effort to enhance the
175 mile corridor from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania to
Monticello, Virginia. The proposed Transportation
Enhancement Project, "Phase I of the Route 15 Initiative",
will focus on research and planning to support appropriate
wayfinding along Virginia's historic "Old Carolina Road"
from the Maryland border at Point of Rocks to Orange,
Virginia. |

a public hearing and consider adoption of the
attached resolution. |

The 20% local match will be
provided by The Journey Through Hallowed Ground Foundation. |
