A Work Session to Discuss an Increase in the Purchase Price of Development Rights Through the PDR Program

Topic Description:

The Purchase of Development Rights (PDR) Committee Recommends the Board of Supervisors Approve an Increase in the Payment Per Development Right in the PDR Program from $20,000 to $30,000 for parcels adjacent to service districts and from $20,000 to $25,000 for parcels that are not adjacent to service districts.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct a Work Session.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

An increase of the PDR Price would increase the current projected total amount for approved parcels of Susannah Grove (an increase of $115,000), Rebecca George (an increase of $105,000) and C. L. Ritchie (an increase of $20,000) by $240,000.
