Procedure for Accepting Purchase of Development Rights (PDR) Applications Outside Regular Application Rounds

Topic Description:

 Occasionally there may be qualified farms which face emergency situations, making application during regular PDR application rounds impossible.  This action will enable the Board of Supervisors to approve the purchase of development rights on such farms.  Such farms must meet all the PDR Program eligibility criteria and must be recommended to the Board by the PDR Committee.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
