A work session to review the status of the Public Safety Radio System implementation

Topic Description:

The transition to the new public safety radio system is nearing completion.  It is anticipated that the results of the coverage testing will be compiled and analyzed prior to the work session.  Updates regarding the installation of equipment, training and plans for the cut-over to the new system will also be reviewed.


Fauquier County’s engineering consultant, CTA, and prime contractor, Motorola, will be at the work session to provide a briefing and answer questions.


Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct a work session.
