A
Resolution to Petition the Rappahannock Regional Criminal
Justice Academy for Membership |
|
Topic Description: |
|
A recent
cost/benefits analysis
(attached) has revealed that the Fauquier County
Sheriff’s Office will recognize significant cost savings by
withdrawing from the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice
Training Academy and joining the Rappahannock Regional
Criminal Justice Academy. This analysis also revealed that
the Rappahannock Regional Criminal Justice Academy offers a
curriculum more relevant to the needs of the Fauquier County
Sheriff’s Office. The Fauquier County Board of Supervisors,
by resolution, has successfully withdrawn from membership in
the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy. This
resolution seeks to direct the County Administrator to take
all actions needed to petition for membership in the
Rappahannock Regional Criminal Justice Academy. |
