A Resolution Amending Section 6-3 of the By-Laws of the Board of Supervisors to Add a Residency Requirement for Membership on Committees of the Board of Supervisors

Topic Description:

The proposed resolution amends Section 6-3 of the By-Laws of the Board of Supervisors of Fauquier County by adding a residency requirement for all members on committees of the Board of Supervisors, requiring all persons appointed to these committees to remain a resident of the County throughout their term and if they should become residents of another locality during their term, it provides that they forfeit their office.

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
