Act was designed to make workforce services (e.g. employer
assistance, job search assistance, economic development
assistance) more easily accessible to the public.
The purpose of the work session is to provide the Board of
Supervisors with an overview of the Workforce Investment Act, how
it can benefit

County
businesses, and the
positive impacts that can be experienced by residents of
Fauquier
County
who have workforce
issues.
