Supervisor
Winkelmann has received complaints from a Center District resident
living along the Warrenton by-pass that trucks are causing
excessive noise by engine braking.
Engine braking involves the use of the engine to brake the
vehicle, which creates greater noise than the use of wheel brakes.
The proposed draft Ordinance makes engine braking, except
when needed to respond to a bona fide emergency, a Class 1
misdemeanor.

and consider adoption of the attached
Ordinance.
