A Resolution Referring to
the Planning Commission a Request of Brian K. Sandberg for
the Issuance of a Special Exception Under Zoning Ordinance
Section 3-320.7 Permitting an Individual Sewage Disposal
System with a Discharge to Replace a Presently Existing
Failed System on Real Property Owned by the Applicant and
Identified as PIN #7925-33-9468-000 |
|
Topic Description: |
|
The applicant, Brian K.
Sandberg, owns real property located at 7215 Jay Ray Way,
Nokesville, Virginia 20181, more particularly described as
PIN #7925-33-9468-000. A residence is located on the
parcel, which residence is served by a Puraflo Sewage
Disposal System. The property's current sewage disposal
system has failed and the applicant is seeking a special
exception under Zoning Ordinance Section 3-320.7 to permit a
sewage disposal system with discharge. The proposed system
is a Puraflo system with a chlorinator that will dishcarge
into a ditch. The failed system and the property have been
reviewed by both the Fauquier County Health Department and
the County Soils Scientist and both agree that the discharge
system is the only alternative for repair. Section 3-320.7
permits discharge systems upon the grant of a special
exception if the system is to replace a presently failed
system and not for new construction.
