Topic: 

A Resolution to Transfer $495,000 from the Northern Swimming Pool Project to the Northern Sports Complex Project

Topic Description:

The attached resolution requests the Board of Supervisors approve the transfer of $495,000 from the $1,398,000 currently budgeted for the Northern Swimming Pool to the Northern Sports Complex. Transfers between projects in the Capital Fund require Board of Supervisors’ approval. Additional funding is needed to support the estimated increase in the Northern Sports Complex resulting from a number of issues. These are outlined in the attached memorandum. A portion of these costs are expected to be recovered during account reconciliation at the end of the project.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

Funding will be taken from the Northern Swimming Pool budget, reducing that project to $903,000.
