A Resolution Delegating to the County Administrator the Authority to Establish Cash Drawers

Topic Description:

Currently, a number of departments, including the departments of Parks and Recreation and Environmental Services, require the use of cash drawers.  Under the present process, cash drawers are established by resolution of the Board of Supervisors.  The Board of Supervisors has indicated that it wishes to delegate the authority to establish cash drawers to the County Administrator.  This resolution, if adopted, will delegate that authority.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
