PROCLAMATION A PROCLAMATION TO RECOGNIZE THOMAS FOSTER FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE STUDENTS OF C. HUNTER RITCHIE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND THE CITIZENS OF FAUQUIER COUNTY UPON THE OCCASION OF HIS RETIREMENT WHEREAS, since November 1, 1991, Thomas Foster has been employed as Head Custodian at C. Hunter Ritchie Elementary School; and WHEREAS, on October 31, 2006, Thomas Foster retired after faithfully serving the citizens of Fauquier County for fifteen years; and WHEREAS, Thomas Foster has provided great encouragement and support to the faculty and students; and WHEREAS, Thomas Foster’s steadfast service to others and deep humility is greatly appreciated by the community; and WHEREAS, Thomas Foster chose to continue to work for more than five years after he was eligible for retirement; and WHEREAS, throughout his career, Thomas Foster has demonstrated the highest level of character and personal integrity in the performance of his duties and responsibilities; and WHEREAS, Thomas Foster’s unwavering commitment and strong work ethic serve as an inspiration and exemplar to all who know him; now, therefore, be it PROCLAIMED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 9th day of November 2006, That the Board does hereby recognize and commend Thomas Foster for his fifteen years of faithful service and dedication to the citizens of Fauquier County; and, be it PROCLAIMED FURTHER, That the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors does hereby express its sincere appreciation and extends it best wishes to Thomas Foster for a most enjoyable retirement and continued success in all future endeavors.
