A
Resolution to Request that the Virginia Department of
Transportation Install No Parking Signs on Rogers Ford Road
(Route 632)
|
|
Topic
Description: |
|
At the request of Bill Glenz, a resident on Rogers Ford Road
(Route 632), and with the concurrence of the Board of
Supervisors and the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT),
“No Parking” signs would be installed on Rogers Ford Road.
These signs will be placed at locations which VDOT deems
appropriate near Comer Lane and the Chester Phelps Wildlife
Management Area.
Mr. Glenz’s request is due to users of the Wildlife
Management Area parking along Rogers Ford Road rather than
in the designated parking lots. The area of chief concern
to Mr. Glenz is near Comer Lane where a curve in Rogers Ford
Road makes parked cars an obstruction to motorists. |
