A Resolution Directing the County Administrator to Take All Actions Necessary to Authorize the Construction of a Sidewalk from the County's Franklin Street Parking Lot to the Chancellor's Gate Subdivision


Topic Description:


Fauquier County is the owner of a parking lot located at the terminus of Franklin Street in the Town of Warrenton, between the Fauquier County Detention Center and the Chancellor's Gate townhouse development.  The Chancellor's Gate Homeowners’ Association has requested that the Board of Supervisors agree to authorize the construction of a sidewalk from its development to the County's parking lot.  The Homeowners’ Association will pay for the cost of the construction of the sidewalk, and will ensure that it is constructed in accordance with all appropriate regulations.


Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors:


Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
