PROCLAMATION

 

A PROCLAMATION TO HONOR KATHLEEN A. MEENEHAN IN RECOGNITION OF THIRTEEN YEARS
 OF DISTINGUISHED SERVICE TO THE CITIZENS OF

FAUQUIER COUNTY

 

            WHEREAS, Kathleen A. Meenehan  has served the citizens of Virginia with distinction for thirty years and, more particularly, the citizens of Fauquier County for thirteen years; and

 

            WHEREAS, on November 7, 1975, Kathleen Meenehan began her career with Prince William County as a Volunteer Coordinator, and subsequently was employed as a Juvenile Probation Officer; and

 

WHEREAS, on November 1, 1992 Kathleen Meenehan began her career in Fauquier County as a Juvenile Probation Officer and, on November 1, 1996, was promoted to Probation Supervisor for the Department of Juvenile Justice; and

 

WHEREAS, Kathleen Meenehan has been an integral part of the multi-disciplinary group serving as a Family Assessment Planning Team for the Office of Comprehensive Services, which serves Fauquier County; and

 

WHEREAS, Kathleen Meenehan has diligently worked to serve the Courts of Prince William and Fauquier Counties, and has provided excellent supervision to the Probation Officers under her supervision; now, therefore, be it

 

PROCLAIMED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 10th day of November 2005, That Kathleen Meenehan be, and is hereby, commended for her many years of dedication to the citizens of Fauquier County; and, be it

 

PROCLAIMED FURTHER, That the Board of Supervisors does hereby congratulate Kathleen Meenehan upon the occasion of her retirement from thirty successful years of faithful public service; and, be it

 

PROCLAIMED FINALLY, That the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors does hereby offer its heartfelt appreciation and extends its best wishes to Kathleen Meenehan in all future endeavors.
