This item would reallocate personnel for the Department of Environmental Services in the Landfill Enterprise Fund to address ongoing workload requirements for the Countyís solid waste management system. An existing vacant 1.00 FTE recycling/education manager position would be eliminated and existing temporary funding would be reassigned to provide the necessary funding for two full time permanent solid waste management operator positions. Establishing two additional full time permanent solid waste management operator positions will incur approximately $90,067 in expenditures on an annual basis.
