Middleburg Humane Foundation
has requested that its property be declared exempt from
taxation. Prior to adopting an Ordinance which declares the
property of a charity exempt from taxation, the Board of
Supervisors must conduct a public hearing.

Conduct a public hearing and
consider adoption of the
attached Ordinance. |

Financial Impacts Analysis: |
|
The assessed value of the
Middleburg Humane Society property is $16,365.
The fiscal impact of this
action based upon the current assessment and personal
property tax rate would be approximately $832.49. |
