Topic: 

A Resolution Approving the Relocation of the Entrance of the Stafford Property as Requested by the Fauquier Trails Coalition, Inc.

Topic Description:

The County owns property located at 8362 Meetze Road which is commonly known as the “Stafford Property”.  The Fauquier Trails Coalition has requested that the entrance to the property be relocated as it currently blocks the extension of the Warrenton Greenway between Warrenton and Green Road.  This proposal is supported by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), and has been found to have no negative impact by Parks and Recreation, General Services, County Administration and Fauquier Community Action.  In addition, the relocation provides another place for the public to access the trail.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
