A Resolution to Authorize the Revision of Human Resources Policy 23 -  Position Classification Plan

Topic Description:

Human Resources Policy 23, Position Classification Plan, has been revised to delete all references with any contracted consulting firm and provides the establishment, maintenance and administration of said plan by the Human Resources Director or designee.

The revisions to Human Resources Policy 23, Position Classification Plan, has received the endorsement of the Personnel Committee.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

There will be no immediate need to fund services of an outside consultant. The establishment, maintenance, and administration of the County’s Position Classification Plan will be absorbed internally by use of existing personnel.
