PROCLAMATION 

A PROCLAMATION HONORING AND RECOGNIZING THE BOXWOOD SCHOOL LITTER LICKERS FOR 20 YEARS PARTICIPATION IN THE ADOPT A HIGHWAY PROGRAM

            WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Transportation initiated an Adopt a Highway Program to encourage residents to participate in the maintenance and beautification of public highways; and

            WHEREAS, the Boxwood School Litter Lickers have participated in this program for over twenty years; and

            WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors wishes to commend these residents for their commitment and sense of community; now, therefore, be it

            PROCLAIMED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 13^th day of November 2008, That the Board hereby recognizes and commends the Boxwood School Litter Lickers for their public service.
