Warrenton-Fauquier

Topic Description:
|
|
Fauquier
County
has received funding
from the Virginia Department of Aviation for the site development
design for T-hangars 3 and 4 and for the design of an Automated
Weather Observing System at the Airport.
It is recommended that
Fauquier
County
contract for engineering services be amended to include these two
projects.

Requested
Action of the Board of Supervisors:

Consider adoption of the attached
resolution.

Financial
Impacts Analysis:
|
|
State funds provide 80%
of the design costs. The
local share for the design of T-hangar #3 will be provided by
Midland Development Corporation.
Funds from the Airport account provide the balance of the
required local share. The
contract amendment for design and bidding services related to
T-hangars is in the amount of $88,960 and for design, bidding and
construction service of the AWOS is $23,545.
