RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION TO RECOGNIZE THE FIRE RESCUE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES LONG RANGE PLAN

            WHEREAS, the Fire Rescue and Emergency Services Plan was published in November of 2003; and

            WHEREAS, the Service Plan was officially recognized by the Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association in the Spring of 2004; and

            WHEREAS, several of the recommendations of the Service Plan have been resolved; and  

            WHEREAS, the Service Plan recommends an extensive improvement plan for the Fire Rescue Stations; and

            WHEREAS, the Volunteer Fire Rescue Association has determined that a significant renovation to the Remington Volunteer Fire Rescue station be added to the Service Plan per the amended “Phase I” priorities; now, therefore, be it

            RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 8^th day of December, 2005, that the Fire Rescue and Emergency Services Plan dated November 2003 be accepted as the basis and platform from which to determine priorities of service improvements.
