Agenda
1. Receive Board Direction Regarding Landfill #149 - Construction, Demolition & Debris Waste (CDD) is out of space in 1 year. This may result in a significant revenue decrease, and resulting tipping fee & General Fund cost increases. To maintain the current revenue stream, its proposed that the CDD operation shift from strictly landfill disposal to maximum recycling/reusing and landfill disposal of the residue.
Options
Option 1: Stop accepting CDD waste Option 2: Continue accepting CDD waste & recycle 50-70 %

2. Inform the Board that Landfill #575 - Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) is out of permitted space in 10 - 15 years. Possible long-term disposal options will be reviewed with the Board.
Options (for disposal to begin 2015-2019)
Option 1: Fully develop acreage for landfill at Corral Farm Option 2: Construct transfer station to send waste to private landfill Option 3: Evaluate & acquire 300-500 acres elsewhere in Fauquier County for future landfill
